Making Your Good-Things List

6967461453_e04362ea6a_zI feel happy when I’ve practiced something good.  Good things nurture body, mind and soul like eating nutritious food, walking outdoors, exploring interests, and prayer.  Good things often benefit others such as preparing the evening meal for the family, or praying before discussing a delicate matter.
Less-good things distract us from good things by sapping our energy for them, like excessive use of smart phones, computers and watching too much television.  Try making a list of good things and title it “Positive practices to replace less-good things”.
